Frequently Asked Questions

What safety measures are in place for my child?

Our program is designed with safety as a top priority. Kids train with certified coaches who focus on technique, use mitts, and work on bags—there is no sparring or student-to-student contact. We maintain small class sizes to provide individualized attention, ensuring that each child can train safely and confidently.

How does boxing benefit children with autism?

Boxing provides a structured environment that promotes focus, coordination, and confidence. The repetitive, rhythmic movements help with sensory processing and motor skills, while the physical activity can reduce stress, improve mood, and build self-esteem. Many children also enjoy the routine, which provides a comforting structure.

Do the coaches have experience working with differently abled children?

Yes, our coaches are trained to work with children of all abilities and have experience adapting lessons to meet the needs of children with autism and ADHD. We tailor each session to ensure every child feels supported and can progress at their own pace.

What should my child bring to class?

Children should wear comfortable athletic clothing and their water bottle. Boxing gloves and wraps are provided for new students, though parents may also choose to purchase their own. Sneakers or other closed-toe athletic shoes must be worn for safety.

How do I know if my child is a good fit for this program?

We begin with a brief survey to understand your child’s unique needs, followed by an intake session where they can meet the coaches and get a feel for the environment. This process helps ensure that each child will benefit from and enjoy the program.
